As a faculty member in the Department of Modern Languages and Linguistics at Florida State University, I regularly teach a range of undergraduate courses focused on Japanese cinema and popular culture.

I additionally offer graduate courses to students in the East Asian Languages and Cultures Program and the Department of Art History. These include seminars on Japan's visual culture and contemporary art history, and on film aesthetics.
